Clever Car Collection celebrates hat-trick of customer service awards in 2026

The Clever Car Collection is celebrating a hat-trick of customer service awards after being named a CarGurus Top Rated Dealer for 2026.

The latest accolade follows our Auto Trader Highly Rated Award, which we received for the third consecutive year, and our Carwow Top Rated 2026 award earlier this summer.

That means the Clever Car Collection has now been recognised by three of the UK’s biggest car-buying marketplaces in the same year.

The CarGurus award is particularly pleasing because fewer than 10% of dealerships on its platform earned the distinction in 2026.

Winners are selected using verified customer reviews and CarGurus marketplace data, with Top Rated dealers required to maintain an average customer rating of at least 4.5 out of five.

CarGurus’ Top Dealer Awards are now in their 12th year and are designed to recognise dealerships delivering strong customer service, value and transparency.

The Top Rated Dealer category specifically recognises exceptional customer satisfaction, based on verified customer reviews.

James added: 'What I particularly like about this award is that it comes back to genuine customer feedback.

'You can say whatever you like about your own business, but ultimately it’s what the people who actually buy cars from you think that matters.

CarGurus President and Chief Operating Officer Sam Zales said the awards recognise dealers that consistently stand out for shoppers and help give buyers another trusted signal when deciding where to purchase their next car.

Winning dealers also receive Top Dealer badging on CarGurus vehicle listings and dealer stock pages, making the achievement visible to customers shopping on the marketplace.

James said: 'Three awards from three major platforms in one year is something we’re very proud of.
